Sorry For The Lack Of Posting

Good morning everyone!! I am sorry for the lack of posting in the past week. Last Monday I was down on the couch with the heating pad so I wasn't exactly feeling like sitting at the computer and posting anyway. I did weigh-in and I gained so I figured it wasn't imperative that I post such negative news anyway.

But I have lost that and a little more this week....and for that I am happy. Still not to my 30 lb. goal yet....how long has it been now....almost 9 months since I started this journey and I'm still not to the 30 lb. goal. Man this is taking forever. I know...I know...I need to get started on my exercise routine. If I would just do that I'd get 'er done I know. I hope to get to that point every day and then something happens that gets me side-tracked and I don't get it done. Does anyone else have that problem?

I hope and pray y'all are having much better success than I am. I just know that as I get older it is getting harder....in all areas...whether it be weight-loss or exercise. I am drinking my water though!!

Well...stay focused on the goal and stay committed to the task at hand. And let the Lord help you to do what you have committed to do...whatever that is today. Oh yeah....and DRINK THAT WATER!!! That is the one thing I have to say I have not lacked on except when I am not home to be able to drink it. Sometimes it is just hard to get the water I need when I'm not at home with my big jug to drink out of and refill three times.

Love y'all and praying for you too!!

Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Hi Julie,
I share your despair with weightloss. I am a yo-yo dieter myself. Last year I lost 21kilograms but I have gained half of it back. I am now investigating whether gluten is a big culprit in my food issues. somethings render me rather uncomfortable. I pray you are feeling completely well and may the Lord bless you

Sis. Sandra....Thank you for your sweet words. I pray you find out what is the cause of your problems too. This is definitely a challenge at times but I know that with the help of the Lord all things can be done!!

Sis. Julie, YOu have taught me the importance of drinking water. Now, I even like it. So thanks. I have never liked water and hated drinking it. but after meeting you, I am now a water drinker, Yea!! connie from Texas

As we get older, it does get harder for a lot of reason but it does not mean we can not or will not succeed. So keep going, you will make that 30 pound goal.

Sis. Connie...Amen!! I'm glad that you have been able to come to like water. You will find that if you don't get the amount of water you need each day that your body will crave it now. I am sure I will also make that 30 pound goal...I just hope it is before my next birthday...that is in February...we'll see!! LOL!!

Great job in losing this week! I'm sure you'll reach that 30 pound goal soon.... even sooner with that exercise ;)
I have a hard time with exercising as well. Like you, I have intentions to do it, but something else always comes up. I've found that waking up a little earlier and exercising first thing in the morning helps. That way the exercise isn't competing with the other things I need to get done in my day. I very rarely look forward to it, but I ALWAYS feel better afterwards. Hope you find something that works for you!
I'm praying for you... and thanks for praying for me as well :)

Hey Julie,
I can totally relate to your plight. I'am also finiding it awfully hard to get to that 20 lb. loss. My problem is a lack of motivation. Sometimes I get so tired of thinking about foor of having to limit. On the mission field food tends to be one of our only entertainments so when we can't eat it's aggravating.
At the moment I'm eating what I want, I don't like it but I'm like the rich man who know's that his money is making him miserable but he just can't give it away.

Oh well, didn't want to write a book or anything. I'm praying for you Julie, I know we can do this we just have to try.
Congrats on your loss!

Sis. Pam....Good idea to do it first thing...I'm not sure that would help me get it done though. It seems I hit the floor running first thing in the morning and would still not take the time for it. I will have to find something that works though.

Sis. Tori...Its okay that you write a book in your comment. I don't mind at all!! I know it must be so hard being a missionary on a foreign field to eat right or to control how much you eat. There is much stress that goes with your ministry as well as not having a whole lot of choice in what you eat I'm sure. But I know that with God ALL things are possible...so I know you can do this. Just keep up the good work with it!! You are in my prayers!

Congratulations on your loss! Even a small loss is worth rejoicing over.
Exercise is my downfall too! I just can't seem to find the time or energy to do it. My goal this week is to exercise at least ONE time. I should be able to do that!
