Sorry It's Been A While...

BEGINNING WEIGHT (220 lbs)...CURRENT WEIGHT (194.5 lbs)...AMOUNT OF LOSS (25.5 lbs)

I got rid of my ticker since I couldn't ever get it to work correctly. So I will begin posting my weight loss at the top of my posts. That will serve as an update to you all on my progress and an incentive to keep going with this.

I know...I haven't been leaving updates. I've just not felt much like doing that lately. I've done so good to post and try to be an encouragement to you all and I have failed to do that lately. It didn't help either that two weeks ago I had a major gain. I gained 1.8 lbs on my May 18th weigh-in. But I'm happy to report that I lost 0.2 lbs this past Sunday. I know...I still haven't made up for that gain but I'm just thankful I lost anything.

I've been going through a very difficult time and that has caused me to give up on my weight-loss and to not really care. I know...I know...shame on me!! I'm hopefully back on track now. This weekend is my time for a visit from an unwelcome "friend" (wink, wink) so I may gain this weekend but we'll just have to see. I'm still drinking my water like crazy though. That has not changed.

I really need to get back to the exercise routine but I just haven't been able to get motivated. But now that I have a Georgia Bulldogs room set up with a tv and dvd player so I can have room to move....I plan to get back to that.

How about you all? How have you been doing? You are still in my prayers and I pray that you have been doing better than I have.

Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Hey Julie,
I'm just getting over that "I really don't care" phase. I really do care but sometimes it takes so much energy to always be thinking about the diet and eating right that it gets tiring.

Your still going down so that's really good, just take it easy and concentrate on moderation.

I'm sure your surprise us like you always do. You've done so good, 25 lbs. is incredible. You motivate me!

Sis. Tori...I'm thankful that I motivate you. Now if I could just motivate myself. I'm so proud of you that you haven't given up. God knows I don't want to give it up. It just gets so hard at times.

We can do this if we'll just let the Lord have His way in EVERY aspect of our lives!! The thing is....are we willing let let Him?

Hang in there Julie! The progress you've made is great! I know it's so hard to even care about the diet stuff when serious issues are happening in your household....but don't give up. I did that about 7 years ago and now I'm having to undo all the weight gain from that. Our eldest was giving us fits at the time and I just didn't have the energy to pay attention to both...but instead of helping, it added to my stress. Ask the Lord to just help you keep it all balanced...not obsessing over what you eat but being sensible.

Your progress has been so steady!

Sis. Karen...Thank you so much for your encouragement. Can you believe I did not stress to you all to be sure to drink your water :) I kinda forgot!! I have done well with the Lord's help that is for sure. And I know I can continue to. I just have to stay focused.....not on the weight-loss but on Him. If I stay focused on Him then I won't do what I shouldn't or eat what I shouldn't.

Thank you so much again!!
